A Wizards Spell Worthingtons DANDY... colt born 5-9-24 to Wilemina & Worthington.

As I went out to check on Wilemina and her impending birthing, I found she had died unexpectedly, leaving Dandy as a LITERALLY NEWBORN a few feet from her.  He hadn't even stood yet. Never in 23 years have I faced such a situation !   As I freaked out for a moment, up came my MINI Gypsy mare, Telary with her two month old filly by her side. I needed to get Dandy inside but he was too heavy to carry. I needed him to follow someone into the barn.  Sweet Telary, with her filly, walked alongside me and we got him into a stall.  There are no words to express my gratitude to this mare :(

Getting him into the barn was only one step.  I called the Vet to help me.. but no idea how to create that solution.  He came out.  Administered a hormone. And Telary suddenly decided that DANDY was ALSO her baby.  This amazing mare raised BOTH BABIES !   There are no words.

It is unheard of for a mare to raise TWO foals as if both were her own.  I am beyond blessed and DANDY has grown up knowing the love of a Mother... and how to be a horse.
